Description

In our workshop we aim to bring together researchers working on grammatical relations. Particularly, we are interested in approaches treating grammatical relations not as primitives but rather as clusters of properties, features, identifiers or constructions (depending on the framework).

The issues to be addressed at the workshop include, but are not limited to, various constructions involving identification of two grammatical functions across and within clauses, such as control and raising constructions, conjunction reduction, switch-reference phenomena, reflexivization, etc.

The participants of the workshop will include the members of the research unit Grammar and Processing of Verbal Arguments and a number of invited speakers.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend the talks. If you plan to attend the workshop, please register by sending an e-mail to Alena Witzlack-Makarevich (witzlack@uni-leipzig.de) so that we can take you into consideration while preparing the handouts, etc.
