Prof. Dr. Angelika Epple (Department of History, University of Bielefeld, Germany)

Angelika Epple is a professor of the history of the nineteenth and twentieth century at the University of Bielefeld and the speaker for the SFB: 1288 “Practices of comparing. Ordering and changing the world”. Her research interests include history of globalizations, the Americas as space of entanglement(s), practices of comparisons, entangled histories, theory of history, comparative international historiography, and higher education didactics.
