Conference Information
The 13th Ferrocene Colloquium will take place from 22–24 February 2015 in Leipzig, Germany.
The event will start on Sunday, 22 February at 1 pm and will close on Tuesday, 24 February at 2 pm.
The Ferrocene Colloquium has evolved over the years into an established European forum for younger scientists - MSc students, PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and young faculty members - to present their most-recent research in organometallic chemistry. Thematically, the meeting will focus on the chemistry of metallocenes and other π-complexes in all aspects - from synthesis, properties, chemical reactivity and catalysis to materials science applications. To leave room for as many oral contributions as possible by younger scientists, only a few invited plenary lectures will be organised. A poster session will form an integral part of the meeting to foster the informal exchange of latest developments in this field of chemistry.
We are very glad that the following speakers have accepted our invitation:
Dr. Anne-Marie Caminade, Laboratoire de Chimie de Coordination du CNRS, Toulouse, France,
Dr. Vasili Miluykov, A. E. Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry, Kazan, Russia,
Prof. Nicholas J. Long, Imperial College London, UK, and
Prof. Petr Štěpniċka, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic.
In line with previous meetings, participation in the 13th Ferrocene Colloquium 2015 will be free of charge, made possible by internal and external sponsoring. Registration and submission of abstracts will start on 1 July, 2014. Further information on the registration procedure, important dates and deadlines, scientific program, travel and housing information, as well as other conference-related information is available in the submenus of this website.
The organising committee looks forward to your participation in the 13th Ferrocene Colloquium 2015 at Leipzig, Germany.
Sincerely yours,
Eva Hey-Hawkins, Harald Krautscheid, Berthold Kersting, Holger Kohlmann and Kornelia Zeckert
