How to reach Linnéstraße 5 in Leipzig
The SANDiE office is located in room 516 of the physics building of
Universität Leipzig at Linnéstraße 5 (map).
by plane
Arrival at the airport Leipzig-Halle,
connection to the Central Train Station ("Hauptbahnhof"):
- by train (every 30 minutes, ride time 15 minutes)
- or by taxi (21 km, about 25 minutes)
by train
Arrival at the the Central Train Station ("Hauptbahnhof"), then
- Tram 16 direction Lößnig,
4 stops (ride time 9 minutes, short distance ticket ["Kurzstrecke"], 1.30 EUR), exit at Johannisallee,
then walk 150 m through the chemistry-building (see map), or
- Tram 15 direction Meusdorf,
4 stops (ride time 6 minutes, short distance ticket ["Kurzstrecke"], 1.30 EUR), exit at Ostplatz,
then walk 800 m (see map)
- or by Taxi (about 10 minutes)
by car
Via A14 (e.g., from Berlin, Hannover):
- take exit Leipzig Mitte (23)
- then follow B2 (for a long time) direction Leipzig and later Gera, Chemnitz
- on Prager Straße (a road with tram rails) turn right at Ostplatz to Johannisallee (direction sign:"Universitätsklinikum"), then turn left to Linnéstraße (see map)
Via A9 (e.g., from Frankfurt(M), Nürnberg):
- take exit Leipzig West (18)
- then follow B181, later B87 to Leipzig center
- when passing the Central Train Station, stay at the "Ring" (circular road around the inner center of Leipzig) and follow direction Grimma
- continue to follow direction Grimma by quitting the "Ring" via Grimmaische Straße to Prager Straße
- at Ostplatz turn right to Johannisallee (direction sign:"Universitätsklinikum") and finally turn left to Linnéstraße (see map)
