Computational modelling of the electronic and optical properties
of self assembled nanostructures, e.g. quantum dots, vertically and
laterally coupled quantum dots, quantum rings and coupled rings and nanorods.
The exciton and trion (negatively charged exciton) energies are calculated
and compared with experimental results. Special emphasis is on the
magnetic field dependence of those quantities.
