This year’s GBD Master’s Prize was awarded to Tim Pelczyk for
his thesis “Comparative characterization of the binding modes of the hexapeptide UR-AK86c and the endogenous ligand PP at Y4R by mutagenesis studies”. The thesis was written as part of the SFB1423 project “Molecular mechanisms of allosteric modulators at Y-receptors” under the direction of Prof. Dr. Beck-Sickinger in the summer semester 2023. 

The award ceremony took place on 14.10.2024 during the
ceremonial semester introduction event of the Faculty of
Life Sciences took place.
