Study Group
Every second Wednesday of each month, from 5 to 7 pm, from April to July and from October to February.
During winter and summer terms, the CEL-LE organizes monthly meetings to discuss undergoing research, as well key literature on Latin America. It is an open space welcoming students and researchers of different disciplines like history, sociology, anthropology, political science, cultural studies and global studies (just to name a few) to present their works or propose topics of discussion relevant to the region. During our first meeting, we will set the agenda of for the semester.
Workshops
irregular activity
According to its participants, CEL-LE organizes one or two-day Workshops dedicated to specific topic. CEL-LE also organizes reading groups and virtual seminars, if required. These events, unlike annual events, aim to small groups and will have a more informal character.
Café Latinoamericano

Cel-Le invites experts on Latinamerica to present and discuss their current work with a diverse public. With a casual atmosphere and good coffee we want to encourage fruitful discussions.
Latin American Transitions
Annual meeting
Since October 2018, CEL-LE organizes the two-day event “Latin American Transitions” to address a relevant topics. The theme of the conference and the current date will be announced during the first term.
