The Leibniz ScienceCampus “Eastern Europe – Global Area” (EEGA) will celebrate its official opening with a conference on 26 January 2017, 4:30 to 9:30 pm, in the Saxon Academy of Sciences in Leipzig, Germany. It is the first occasion to present its activities to a wider audience, both inside and outside academia, and to stimulate an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary discourse on the diverse and changing region with internationally renowned experts from science, economy, politics, and journalism.

Der Leibniz ScienceCampus “Eastern Europe – Global Area” (EEGA) wird am 26. Januar 2017, 16:30-21:30 Uhr, in der Sächsischen Akademie der Wissenschaft zu Leipzig feierlich eröffnen. Es ist die erste Gelegenheit, seine Aktivitäten einem breiten Publikum vorzustellen und einen inter- und transdisziplinären Diskurs mit Expertinnen und Experten aus Wissenschaft, Ökonomie, Politik und Journalismus über die diverse und sich verändernde Region anzuregen.
