What Does It Mean to Follow an Actor-Centred Approach in Research on Processes of Respatialization

This week we will focus on notions of „practice“ as a way to start a discussion on what one might understand by “pratices of spatialization”. Relatedly, one must consider actors, involved in these practices. Ursula Rao proposes to distinguish between collective and individual actors as a heuristic tool to understand the difference between institutions and individuals and reflect on the different impact their actions have for shaping social situations.
