The Many Facets of Global Studies: Perspectives from the Erasmus Mundus Global Studies Programme

Konstanze Klemm and Matthias Middell have published an edited volume on the emergence and developments of Global Studies. This publication assembles contributions from more than 30 authors around the globe. Although the volume focuses in a large part on the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Programme “Global Studies”, it also maps general developments in the field as well as expectations towards it and may thus serve now and in the future as one of many sources in order to trace the origins of Global Studies and the comparatively rapid development it took in just few years.
