Electrospun nanofibers of a copolymer consisting of polyvinylalcohol that has been crosslinked with an inorganic polymer containing phosphorus, oxygen and nitrogen only.

1st SIPs PolyComp Training School was organised from 25 to 30 September 2014 in Graz (Austria) and Trieste (Italy) as a unique "cross border" activity.

• Summer course on SAXS and light scattering techniques at the labs of the Graz University of Technology in Graz and the synchrotron radiation source ELETTRA in Trieste with lectures as well as hands-on practical training on relevant characterization techniques in materials science.

• After successful completion of the course, the students are familiar with the general principles and methods of working on X-ray scattering and light scattering in the field of material science. They are able to use the acquired knowledge to solve limited scientific research problems within their PhD thesis and to document the results properly.
