Abstract

The Hall effect, magnetoresistance and magnetization of La_0.7A_0.3MnO₃ (A = Ca, Ba) films were measured. A scaling of the Hall resistivity with the magnitude and direction of the magnetization was observed. The scaling relation was derived within the classical side-jump model taking the double-exchange interaction into account. (© 2004 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
