Our research focus
Core methods for the investigation, analytics and manipulation of active matter are developed involving especially new sensing techniques with ultrahigh sensitivity.
Current topics involve:
- Optical microscopy with single molecule sensitivity
- Spectroscopy of plasmonic nano-structures
- Plasmonic sensing
- Local optical temperature control for optical microscopy
- Nanofluidics and optical trapping for particles and molecules
- Photothermal absorption microscopy
- Photothermal correlation spectroscopy
- Infrared super-resolution microscopy
- Real-time microscopy image processing with neural networks
- Time series characterization by neural networks
