Diversity Management & Recruitment

At the SFB 1199, one of our aims is to preserve and cultivate a working environment sensitive to issues of diversity and inclusion.

A diversity-sensitive selection and employment of researchers is a standard across all projects of the SFB 1199 and thereby also has repercussions for the departments contributing to it. This is supported by the election of Ute Rietdorf to the position of equal opportunities officer for the Faculty of Social Sciences and Philosophy. As the SFB’s academic coordinator, she also received a specialized training in managing diverse research associations.
