| The provision of childcare during events for all SFB members as well as for our diverse international guests is a major source of support. Childcare can also be arranged flexibly for work schedules beyond the opening hours of kindergartens and/or in situations of unforeseen circumstances. Accompanying measures consist of the employment of additional research assistants in exceptional family situations, including the possibility of being accompanied by partners and toddlers while conducting field research, if necessary. |
In the future, the installation of home-based office policies for researchers in special family situations will become standard, going beyond the temporary policy allowing work from a home-based office.
