Spatial History as Digital History

Katherine McDonough will discuss spatial history as digital history. She is a historian of eighteenth-century France working at the intersection of political culture and the history of science and technology. She has taught and collaborated on DH projects at Bates College, Western Sydney University, and Stanford University. She is now a Senior Research Associate on the Living with Machines Project at The Alan Turing Institute in London which is the UK’s new national institute for data science and AI. It is headquartered at the British Library in London.
