Congratulations: Dr. Simone Prömel was appointed W2 Professor of Cell Biology at HHU on January 21, 2021.

Prof. Prömel’s research focuses on the signaling mechanisms and relevance of “adhesion G protein-coupled receptors” (aGPCR) in various biological processes. aGPCR are involved in key physiological functions such as cell polarity – the orientation of cell structures – and in developmental, immunological, metabolic and neurobiological processes.

She is co-project leader in the SFB1423 subproject C04 and we wish her success in her new challenges and task.
